Production traceability: connect batch, equipment and time
Turn material movements into queryable events for food, automotive and process manufacturing.
Read the guideSolutions
Connect materials to the finished product.
Quality, production and logistics teams
Preserve relationships between batches, equipment and process time. Record input-output movements as queryable events to support backward and forward tracing.
A barcode, RFID or OPC UA event is read; equipment and timestamp are added.
Batch and event identifiers are validated; quantity and unit consistency are checked.
Events are written to MES, ERP or SQL; the input-output relationship is stored in a queryable form.
Pilot acceptance criterion
Query from an output batch to all inputs and from an input to all outputs; report missing links.
Connector availability, version compatibility and licence scope are verified for each project.

Read the guideA batch or event identifier, an equipment identifier, the transaction time, and quantity and unit. Which system owns which key must be decided up front; otherwise inconsistencies arise that are hard to fix later.
It depends on the interface the reader offers; a suitable plug-in is chosen for readers connected over OPC UA, REST or the network. Scope, device model and interface are confirmed in the project.
